Jeff and L'Aura Muller have been ghost hunting since 1993. They are members of the American Society of Psychical Research (ASPR) and the International Ghost Hunters Society (IGHS). Additionally they have been recognized as Inner Circle Society Award Members of the IGHS, and members of the Cosmic Society of Paranormal Investigators. They have investigated cemeteries, private homes, businesses and college dorms.

With this experience, they have founded the NJGHS (New Jersey Ghost Hunters Society). The Mullers have been featured on "Family Talk" with Mary Amoroso on CN8, Telemundo's version of "Entertainment Tonight" and NEWS 12 NJ, as well as radio's 101.5 FM Jim Gerhart's morning show, and WMTR's (1250 AM) Jesse Freese's show. Additional appearances have allowed them to present their haunted findings and definitions to various clubs and organizations such as the Scotch Plains/Fanwood Historical Society, the Westfield Historical Society and the Garden State Horror Writers Association.

L'Aura was even called on to present at the Thomas Edison Middle School's (Westfield) Career Day. It turned out to be such a popular "profession" that she had to address 2 classes at a time in the gym!
