Please note that no more than two training groups will ever dispatch at the same time/date to Eastern State. A group consists of 4 Trainees and 1 Trainer as well as 1 guide from the Prison itself.

Training will be formed on a First Come, First Served basis subject to availability at Eastern State Pen. They do have black out dates as well that we have to honor given their Terror Behind the Walls Haunted House.

Training Includes - 4 hours at Eastern State Pen, 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM
1 hour - EVP, digital
1 hour - Videography & Still Photography
1/2 hour - EMF & Thermal Scanning
1.5 Hours - Free Practice Time

Each Trainee must submit a Report of Findings inclusive of historical data/research within 2 weeks of the training night at ESP. The ROF may be submitted on CD-ROM to include text, photos, video clips and EVPs.

Scoring is as follows:
50% for completion of all 4 hours at ESP
30% for 500 word Report w/historical data
20% for quality of images and recordings submitted with ROF

Successful completion of the Training along with a Passing Mark of 80 points or higher will yield you the Certificate and new NJGHS Membership card that carries the designation: Certified Paranormal Investigator.
