L'Aura & Stephen Goldner

L'Aura Hladik Goldner - Founder, Paranormal Investigator
Stephen Goldner - Historian, Paranormal Investigator

L'Aura has been ghost hunting since 1993 and founded the NJ Ghost Hunters Society back in 1998. In addition to hunting in New Jersey, she's ghost hunted in Savannah, GA, St. Francisville (The Myrtles Plantation), LA, New Orleans, LA, St. Johnsville (Beardsley Castle), NY, Gettysburg, PA, Chicago (Bachelor's Grove), IL, Nashville, Memphis & Chattanooga, TN and conducted the first NJ Ghost Conference at The Inn at Five Ponds in Vermont in 1999.

Her interest in the paranormal started in childhood with her Dad introducing her to "Twilight Zone" and finishing out 8th grade living in a haunted house.

Her Great-Grandmother owned one of the wallets made from Antoine LeBlanc's skin. Laura remembers the terror of running through Phoebe's bedroom, then a private dining room of the Wedgewood Inn, to get to the bathroom when her Mom took her to work on school holidays. (Today this is Jimmy's Haunt in Morristown.)

Today, L'Aura works full time for a great candy company. (no, not the one in Hackettstown).

She is working on a book of her favorite investigations and has written articles for NJ History's Mysteries on Ringwood Manor and the Antoine LeBlanc murders.

Stephen graduated from Monmouth University with a Bachelors degree in History and Education. He is a history teacher at a high school in Newark, NJ and attending Seton Hall University for his Masters in Education.

Steve is the Historian for the NJGHS providing all the background research on sites that are investigated for paraonormal activity to determine if any thing syncs up with a historical event or person.

October 22, 2004 L'Aura & Stephen were married and they honeymooned in Ireland - staying in haunted castles and B&B's. In fact, they spent Halloween night in the most haunted suite of Kinnitty Castle -- The Geraldine Suite.  Their first orb in motion captured on their new Sony DVD Camcorder was in the banquet hall of the castle. It is said that the ghost of a monk is in this hall and loves it when wedding receptions take place there.

When not out investigating or conducting Morbid Mobile Tours in their 1985 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham hearse, they are home in Hackettstown, NJ with 2 boys: Brian & Trent, "Captain Logan", the Great Dane and the cat "Bob".

So what does scare the ghost hunters? The older son will be driving in two years! Yikes!

Laura Lindemann

Laura Lindemann - Team Leader, Northeastern Division of the NJGHS

"My interest in things paranormal goes back to my childhood. My parents would even humor me by stopping at cemeteries so I could walk around."

"My first cognizant experience occured at Ringwood Manor back when I was 10 or 11 yrs old. I encountered what I later learned to be a "cold spot", followed by an abrupt tap on my shoulder from behind. Upon turning around I saw no one behind me which, of course, sent me hurrying from the house. My interest in ghosts has never waned."
"My regular life includes working for a glass fabrication and installation company, hiking, reading, my grandkids, friends,  etc....a fairly run-of-the-mill life."

Laura has been with NJGHS since 1998 and participated in many memorable investigations such as the Cranbury Inn which was filmed by the TV crew M6 from France.

"It's been a joy to know I'm not alone in my belief in the paranormal."

Brian Sandt

Brian Sandt - Tech Guru for NJGHS and Producer for "The Deadline"

Brian has been a member since 2004 and is the Technical Advisor for the NJGHS and producer for "The Deadline" which is scheduled to air in August 2005.

Brian has always been interested in the paranormal since childhood, but he never really got involved with it untill he contacted the NJGHS regarding an investigation needed at a business he was employed at.

Brian is currently working as a network administrator for a small company here in New Jersey.

When Brian is not working, or performing miracle cures on NJGHS members' computer systems, he enjoys heading down to Atlantic City, up to the Poconos, and just relaxing at home (trying to regain his sanity).

So what scares Brian?  Knowing that L'Aura will be behind the wheel of a hearse!  RUN!!
